ON TOUR: Motionless In White w/ Fit For A King + Brand Of Sacrifice
Motionless In White have established themselves as one of the most significant forces in modern US rock music with their unique blend of industrial metal dissonance, captivating gothic bombast, and powerful metalcore. With over half a billion streams, they have placed four consecutive top 5 albums on the US rock charts, with three of these albums even climbing to the top of the US hard rock charts. This includes their sixth album, “Scoring the End of the World,” released in June 2022.
After successfully touring North America with this album and planning to come to Europe for some concerts in the summer of 2024 - with their only German show in Karlsruhe selling out within 24 hours - Motionless In White will return to Germany early next year for six shows. Between January 23 and February 15, 2025, they will perform in Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, Wiesbaden, and Cologne.
Band History and Style
Motionless In White was founded in 2005 when all members were still in high school. Despite their youth, they quickly developed their own style, drawing from hard alternative, whipping industrial, and powerful metalcore. When they added a keyboardist to the band shortly after, their sound expanded towards goth and synth metal.
In 2010, they released their official debut album “Creatures.” Numerous tours followed, increasing their popularity outside the US. However, the band has faced an ongoing dilemma: many of the musicians employed by Motionless In White are such good instrumentalists that they are poached by other bands. This constant change brought unrest but also fresh blood for creative work.
Musical Characteristics and Success
Their stylistic features - complicated guitar riffs, occasional blast beats during verses, and the use of many breakdowns - made Motionless In White a highly booked act at worldwide rock and metal festivals. Thanks to their many tours, the final breakthrough came with their third album “Reincarnate” (2014).
Since then, Motionless In White have been among the absolute greats of metalcore, which their fourth album “Graveyard Shift” impressively proved. After constant success in their home country, they managed to enter the charts of many other nations for the first time in 2017, including England and Germany, where the band has since been counted among the absolute genre greats.
For their “Touring The End of The World Tour,” they are bringing along two other metalcore giants, Fit For A King and Brand of Sacrifice, who will help make these Motionless In White shows unforgettably intense concerts.
